Finger jello is super fun even when it’s only one color and just hanging out by itself. Taking the extra time to layer a whole bunch of colors in there takes it to a whole new level of snack innovation. I wonder how it tastes with all those flavors in one mouthful? Like a rainbow of fruit?

it tastes fabulous…. my grandma used to make it for EVERY special occasion
I wonder how they did it? The only ways I can imagine are to either do separate molds and put together when solid, or solidify each layer before adding another.
it’s the later, my aunt still makes it all the time
It is super easy. I make it all the time.
4 colors jello (1 Jello+1 cup HOT water+ 1 Knox Gelatin)
1 can sweetened condensed milk (milk+2 cups HOT water+2 Knox Gelatin)
Put 1st layer in dish, let set.
I still have my grandma’s recipe. The white layers are made with sour cream. It takes about 1/2 hour to set up each layer before you add the next. You pour the next layer onto a spoon so it doesn’t “drill” through, but floats off the spoon onto the previously set layer. Fits nicely in a 9×13 glass cake pan.
My mom just made that yesterday, except hers has yellow, too. And yes, you wait until each layer sets before you ad the next one.
RAINBOW EXPLOSION!!!!!!!
Needs a yellow and a purples
Jello is fruit flavored, ground up, chilled cartilage and bone. Ew.
Go lick moss from a rock then
My husband thinks it’s grose, but I eat the cartilage when I eat chicken drumsticks. It’s full of good stuff and helps build healthy bones and teeth. I’ve never had a broken bone or a cavity in my life
what is the white stuff between each layer of colours?
My mom and I have been making this for years now. If I don’t bring this to a family gathering I fear for my life.
I use Vanilla yogurt instead of sour cream and mix it with half of the liquid jello so the all the layers are colorful and sweet.
haha my grandma used to make this all the time around Christmas
I served it at my wedding believe it or not. All my Aunties made it for me as a wedding gift. I had people fighting over the last of it, which was hilarious. Soooooo good.
I think anyone who knew exactly how Jello is made would prefer to, myself included.
